Service was super efficient. We ordered chip rolls. They were loaded with chips but there was not enough sauce. Perhaps next time we could be asked how much sauce we would like, or i would ask for extra sauce. The chips are fresh.

I’ve had their beef prego three times now. The first two, earlier in the year, were absolutely outstanding. Seriously, I was blown away. Recently, we bought the prego sauce they sell for home use to make our own prego rolls, and I found it incredibly salty (and I enjoy salty food). I assumed the store-bought version might just taste a bit different, so I gave it another try yesterday and ordered a prego directly from the store. Again, it was extremely salty - to the point of being almost intolerable. I’m not sure if it’s just me or if something has changed in the recipe, but the sauce is now overwhelmingly salty. You can still tell there’s an amazing flavour underneath, but it’s being completely overpowered. A real pity.

This place has to be amongst the top five places in the whole wide world to get Preggo rolls. If you grew up in Cape town and are familiar with DEMS, Chippies, Silkwood etc then you're on the right track. It's the same place, just a new name. What a delicious hole in the wall. Small shop that makes you think of a classic chips or sandwich shop. Food is of very high quality. Stem Prego, soft, medium rare even and bursting with flavour. Twice fried crispy chips and the best Prego sauce that I have ever tasted. A must visit
